Jamaica Street is located south of E-470 and east of I-25.  Jamaica Street links the Inverness Business Park with the Meridian International Business Center.

HCL was retained by the Meridian Metropolitan District to provide full engineering and surveying services.

Services consisted of preliminary and final construction documents, permitting, bidding and construction management for this .7-mile major arterial roadway.

As part of our on-call engineering and surveying services for the Meridian Metropolitan District, HCL provides utility, storm drainage, and roadway design.  HCL offers a broad range of capabilities for the transportation industry, including engineering/design and construction management.  HCL specializes in the design, and construction of transportation facilities related to land development.

This project provided the necessary infrastructure improvements for impending development within the Meridian International Business Center.  The project consisted of roadway widening, installation of sidewalk, curb and gutter improvements, concrete pavement including lime stabilization and asphalt overlay, slurry seal, median design, storm drain relocation, utility relocation, installation of traffic signal systems, and installation of traffic signs and striping.  HCL prepared construction documents for utility infrastructure and roadway design for approximately .75 miles of arterial roadway linking E-470 to Lincoln Avenue.  HCL also provided full construction management and construction observation throughout the project.
