COMPANY PROFILE
HCL is a Colorado based firm offering a full range of Civil Engineering, Surveying and Construction Management services. We are committed to accurately determine the needs of each client and identify innovative, economically feasible and environmentally responsible solutions. To support these capabilities, HCL employs a multi-disciplined group of professionals experienced in developing and implementing practical solutions to complex engineering problems. HCL has contributed to civil engineering, land surveying, and construction projects throughout the Denver Metropolitan area. We have completed hundreds of projects, providing a full spectrum of services including roadway design, storm drainage and hydrology, grading, paving, water distribution, wastewater collection, pumping stations design, platting, right-of-way acquisition services, construction staking, construction management, and other related work. HCL has led both design and survey for projects up to $75 million in total design and construction costs, and our efforts have been instrumental in bringing projects to completion, on-time and on-budget. HCL's clients include leading corporations in land development, numerous municipalities, county and state governments, and federal agencies. HCL has been providing design, engineering and construction services in the Denver Metropolitan area for years and has a well-established presence in the Denver market. OUR HISTORY
HCL is a privately owned limited liability company established in March 1999. HCL has been providing planning, design, surveying, construction administration and construction management services on projects ranging from arterial rehabilitation to highway expansion, utility planning to master planning. The leadership of the firm is vested in its two Principals - J. Lloyd Herrera, PE, President and serves as Engineer for Special Districts and Tyler Lowe, Vice President. Jim Hennessy, PLS, serves as Survey Manager, Greg Bradford, PE, serves as Construction Services Manager, and Kennith Schmidt, PE, PLS, serves as our Field Engineer. The managers are assisted by a group of associates, each responsible for production within the firm's major service departments. The other team members with the company consist of professional engineers, professional surveyors, construction personnel, technicians, and administrative personnel.

HCL comprises highly skilled and motivated individuals, bringing depth to the firm. OUR SERVICES
HCL began making its mark in the civil engineering arena when it merged the talents of the principal managers in 1999 to provide professional engineering services with an emphasis in quality control and client satisfaction. As the company grew and diversified into a fully disciplined civil engineering firm, the engineering department has remained the core of HCL's success. By utilizing the latest in technological and managerial skills, and combining these with an emphasis on customer service, HCL has built the foundation required to offer clients preeminent engineering services.

Since the firm's inception, survey services have been offered in conjunction with civil, utility design, and construction management services. HCL prides itself on using state-of-the-art technology available in today's market. As an example, the firm's Global Positioning System (GPS) is used by survey crews to work efficiently within any coordinate system. Using this technology, HCL can establish survey control points in seconds, anywhere, at anytime, to obtain a high level of accuracy. OUR STAFF IS EXPERIENCED
HCL's staff is experienced in a wide range of project activities. Our commitment is to provide our clients with quality services beginning with our senior level executives to our project management staff. Our staff stays abreast of the latest developments in the industry, allowing us to provide our clients with the most appropriate solutions to meet their needs. HCL's Project Managers are assigned projects based on their experience and successful track record of meeting our clients' objectives and schedules. Complete project teams are then assembled based on each team member's area of expertise, proven performance, and leadership abilities.

HCL's professional staff includes professional engineers and land surveyors registered in the state of Colorado and in good standing with the boards of registration for engineers and land surveyors. HCL maintains fully equipped two-man survey crews who utilize electronic total stations and electronic data collection. We have also incorporated total in-house facilities such as an integrated computer design and a drafting system allowing us to maximize our efficiencies for our clients.
